La Rioja

La Rioja is the province of silence and pure fruit. In the Famatina Valley and in Vichigasta, an ancestral village of the province's western flank, the winery produces organic wines that express the unique identity of this land: austere, luminous and generous with those who know how to listen.

In late 2018, Mauricio Lorca travelled to western La Rioja in search of the finest terroir for his own organic wine project. After a long search he arrived at an estate in Vichigasta that captivated him for its warm, dry climate, its sandy and loamy soils and the singular quality of its fruit. There the winery's first organic wines were born.

La Rioja's wines carry no oak and no external additives: they are made with indigenous yeasts, without pesticides or herbicides, respecting every phase of the vine's natural cycle. The result is wines of great fruit purity — Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Torrontés — that capture the unique character of the Famatina Valley.
